I had been trying to get my lawn mower repaired since last summer (Sears has stopped offering this type of service in most areas) and just when I was about to give up, I searched online one last time and found Avery Mobile Service. Expecting another dead end, I was pleasantly surpised when I spoke with Tony who said he can take care of it immediately! He arrived to my house in San Leandro within an hour, and had my mower fixed in no time at all!!
In addition to being knowledgeable about engine repair, he was professional, affordable, polite and very friendly!!
I will definitely be using his services again and I have already told my friends about his great service! I would recommend Mr. Avery for any mobile repair services needed — unless you would rather be unhappy and waste your time and money!

I needed my lawnmower serviced and a small repair, I found Tony Avery on the web and he came the next day (Sun), charged $65 for the service and $10 for the parts. He was prompt, polite and friendly. He did a great job 🙂 Highly recommended.

I had contacted Sears in Concord to have my 4 year old Craftsman Mower repaired. They gave me the run around and then tried to sale me a new mower. I went online and found Tony Avery of Avery Mobile Services. He drove out to Concord within one hour and my mower operates better than when it was new. This guy is FANTASTIC and very fare with his prices.

Tony is the geatest! I called him at 9 am, he called back at 9:45, and was at my house at noon to fix my roto-tiller. It was running good as new by 12:45. Prices were more than fair, and he is going to replace the pull-start cord for me soon since mine is about to break. Wish every repair service was this quick, reliable, and reasonable.

My tug (actually the machine is really a lawn tractor with the cutter removed) was dying one of those real bad, long lingering deaths on those real bad Saturday afternoon waste of time movies.
My tug is used to tow the landing pad upon which my helicopter is towed from the hangar to the location on the tarmac that the helicopter flies away from and subsequently returns to land at which time, the tug tows the pad/helicopter back to the hangar.
My problem was, the tug was a LUG!!!!!! Did not want to start and DID NOT CARE that I had a high dollar flight on the line.
Tony, arriving in his faithful steed, immediately ascertained the ailment that afflicted the tug.
With the precision of an Emergency Physician and the swiftness of a Navy SEAL, Tony had the tug working on both cylinders which was chomping at its throttle cable.
Thank you Tony “TOTALY AWESOME” Avery for getting the tug healed. Were it not for you, I would have had to cancel the flight and I would had lost the revenue as well as a client.
I’ll be getting back to you soon to work your magic on my three generators.

Tony showed up exactly when he said he would. My Snapper riding mower quit working. Called AVERY
and made an appointment. He showed up right on time and within 15 minutes he had
my mover running better than it ever did. He made a few other adjustments and now it starts REALLY fast.
When I asked him what he charged I was very pleasantly surprised. I would recommend Tony to all my friends. Excellent job.

I can now understand all the great reviews I’ve seen on the websites about Tony’s (Avery Mobile Service) reputation as the go-to-guy for small motor repair. I had a very reliable 12 yr old Honda mower that finally would not start even after I worked on it for a couple weeks. Tony arrived and promptly diagnosed the problem(s) with the motor. New gas, spark plug, oil change, and a rebuilt carb in less than 30 minutes. It’s running again like new. Tony told me that this motor is usually good for 30 yrs!
He also took a look at a Honda pressure washer that had not been running for over a year. He got that going after a few adjustments. All this done in about an hour and at a very reasonable price.
I highly recommend Tony for any motor repair needs. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, fair and explains everything he is doing and why. Good honest old fashion service is alive and well.
